Question by foco: How can I tell who my Internet Service Provider (ISP) is? ? I go to Colorado State University and use their internet connection in my family housing apartment. I’m trying to set up a wireless router and it wants to know what my internet service provider is, but I have no idea. Is there any way to figure out this information without having to call the school (since they’re already closed for the evening).

Answer by SteveCall town hall and ask who the cable provider is. In most areas, cable tv service is contracted by local governments to cable companies. Even still, they should be able to help you

What do you guys recommend? I’ve had bad experience with Comcast in the past and Some options I have thought about are Verizon DSl, ATT&T And XOHM. What do you guys recommend?

Answer by Power of SerbiaVerizon DSL, Verizon FIOS, Earthlink . Earthlink Highspeed has cable and DSL options but they are through Verizon and Comcast, but at least you will be going through Earthlink instead of Verizon/Comcast directly.

Question by : anyone know of a good internet service provider in chicago? I have comcast. It it way to expensive. I can not get RCN (which I know is cheaper and just as fast) where i live. Does anyone know of another one that is cheaper but i can still download music and movies quickly? I just need internet nothing else. Hopefully someone knows of a smaller provider.

Answer by KenTake back up of your site. Upload your site to new web hosting account, update domain details to new web hosting account and finally delete your site from old web hosting account.

Also, Verizon FIOS has a good rep. Similar bundles.
