Question by Beth: What is Yahoo’s POP3, SMPT and authentication for free email accounts? ? I am trying to send an Email using my free yahoo account I’ve been asked what is yahoos POP3, SMPT and if authentication is required. Does anyone know this information? Thank You.

I am an AT & T customer, and I need to access my mail, but can’t use AT & T’s webmail from this location. Are there any web based mail servers that can access it? Question by sahmlomano: Need a domain host that has pop3 email capabilities.? We have a small business. We are using the POP3 accounts that are inexpensive and through our domain name company, but the accounts have a maximum file size transfer limit of 2MB. We need 10-12MB file transfer ability.
I figure we need to switch the company our domain name is regsitered with in order to keep the @companyname.org in our email address, but I’ve no idea which company would be the best to have the domain name AND a POP3 account that meets our needs.

Answer by Nicholas FI believe (I could be wrong) that using POP3, the email is downloaded from the server straight to your computer email client (like Outlook Express). Once you download an email you do not have to be on line to read it again. In IMAP,and web based e mail, you are viewing it off of someone elses server, and have to be on line to view it each time. Answer by Barkley HoundIt is normally neither but if you pay for a Plus account you can get POP3 access and use it in a standalone email program.

Its free serivice.. The only thing do is you can only be invited..
You cannot just join gmail.. You have to get an invitation who ever has gmail account..
