Question by : I bought a web domain from yahoo and I need to know how to redirect it to another site?
Best answer:
Answer by JoelKatzIt’s not clear what you mean by “redirect”. Most likely there are one of two things you want to do:
1) Configure the DNS for the domain so that it is a CNAME for the domain you want to redirect it to.
2) Set up HTTP redirection with a hosting provider and redirect web requests to the URL of your choice.

Q&A: Linking a domain to a separate web host?
Jan 21st
Question by Blondehh: Linking a domain to a separate web host? I’ve just purchased a domain name to go with my hosting from another company. I’ve never done it seperately before so don’t know if i’ve missed something.
So far, on the webhost i’ve entered the website address i’ve bought and it’s all been setup around that. On the website I bought the domain from i’ve changed the nameservers to that of my hosting.
Is there anything else that needs to be done before they are fully linked?
Thanks.

If I just want an emial at a new domain name, how much does the emial cost?
Jan 20th
Question by mannix_mannix_mannix: If I just want an emial at a new domain name, how much does the emial cost? For instance, I want to register the domain abc123.com and also have an email that I can use such as me@abc123.com.
Do I just buy a domain from Godaddy and use their service for the email? Will I have to pay monthly charges for the email? I just want to use a free email service if possible, but I am not sure how that works.
Thanks for the help.
