How can I switch a existing domain name, to a different host? ?
Nov 24th
Question by Evan M: How can I switch a existing domain name, to a different host? ? I have 2 hosts. Each one is carrying a different domain name the I have registered. I want to move them both to a single host. I got on my cpanel and tried adding the other domain into “addon domains” But I said there was an error with the name servers, and where they were pointed. So my question is how can I change my name servers etc.. So I can manage both domains on 1 host’s cpanel?

Is there a website or program that allows you to access different email accounts at the same time?
Nov 23rd
Question by Dr.Who: Is there a website or program that allows you to access different email accounts at the same time? I have a lot of emails (gmail, yahoo mail, aim and hotmail). I was wondering if there was a program/website that I can use that allows you to access the emails on each one instead of going to each individually.

Question by L.A.: How can I open two or more Yahoo! email accounts simultaneously in different tabs in Mozilla Firefox 3.0.19? I have two Yahoo! mail accounts, one personal and one for work and would like to open both of them at the same time, each in a separate tab (or window) in Mozilla Firefox 3.0.19. Is there any way to do so? I have done the same job with IE; each account in a separate window but not able to do so with Firefox

Question by Kaomilzo01: Does it matter if I purchase my domain and hosting on a different site? I just want to purchase my domain name today and have no idea where to host my site yet. I won’t buy it as a package and I don’t mind paying a few dollars extra.
Is it okay to find out which hosting I like later on when I have my designs up and ready?

Answer by MikeYes, I almost always have my domain names separate from my hosting.
You can also register you domain name with one registrar and have the hosting More >

Source 1) Cox Communications internet connected to my computer via a modem and Ethernet cable.
Source 2) Virgin Mobile Mifi (unlimited 3G) via my wireless card.
Are any additional steps required so that these two internet sources can result in faster downloads/uploads?
Thanks for your help! The Virgin Mobile Mifi was a gift and I want to make the use of it while computing at home.

Question by loveinside: different CMS and common Free Website builder? hi..
is there anyone can tell me what’s the different between the Web CMS (Content Management System) and a common Free Website builder?
thank’s
Best answer:
Answer by KegoThose are pretty interchangable. CMS usually deals strictly with page content – changing the text inside of an HTML page, having nothing to do with web design or colors. Over the last few years, CMS have evolved to allow you to change other aspects of your website, thus almost becoming full website builders. Traditional website builders that required you to know HTML have started using CMS now More >

I have a Personal computer that has the Norton internet safety software package on, but I’ve been thinking of finding a laptop computer recently. So, can I use my latest Norton stuff on the laptop computer, as nicely as it being on the laptop or computer as a substitute of getting to buy it once more for the laptop?

Why do different internet speed test tools vary in results or yield different numbers?
Aug 14th
Question by Rob: Why do different internet speed test tools vary in results or yield different numbers? I’m testing out my internet speed from my ISP and it’s seems it’s not consistent across the various speed test tools online even though I’m selecting the same server (e.g. Atlanta).
i.e. www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/, www.Speedtest.net, http://speedtest.cfl.rr.com/ all give me completely different numbers for download. (I should be getting 40Mbit, one caps me at avg 20, another 30, and my providers official one shows me at 40)
Should I be skeptical that my provider is actually giving me what I pay for?
