Question by Seeker2008: Do I need to cancel my first Phone/Internet provider or is it automatic? I’m switching both my phone service and Internet service to another company, and I currently have both with another company. Do I need to call and cancel the first service, or will the new provider do all of that for me with both? Do they literally have someone call up the other company and get my info in order to switch it over?

Question by : Can I cancel phone internet with a blackberry? From what I have heard if you have a blackberry then you have to keep an internet package on your account. I don’t use the phone internet much & would like to cancel the internet on it to lower bills. Is this possible? Any advice? I spend $ 30 a month for internet on the plan

Question by Mic: Can I cancel a Verizon Data Plan Without Fees? My motorola Q is dying and I’m having to look at new phones. The Env2 is very expensive on ebay, but blackberries are very cheap.

The catch is that most have the requirement that you buy a data/email plan for $ 75 for one month. That’s fine, as it was balance out the cost of the phones. But that’s only if I can cancel the service immediately.

Can this be done without cancellation fees?
