Question by Deborah S: Tivo series 1, only has phone jack, can I connect it to cable internet? I have a series 1 Tivo, lifetime subscription. Trying to find best (cheapest) way to hook it to the internet. I don’t use a home phone for anything else, I now have cable internet through Adelphia aka Comcast. I have found where people have hooked it to Vonage ( internet phone but you still pay a “phone bill”) or where they have hooked it with a turbonet card (costs less than $ 50) however you have to open the Tivo unit More >

How to get a good deal for Mediacom cable and internet service?
Feb 4th
Question by lemonsjoshua: How to get a good deal for Mediacom cable and internet service? I am a current mediacom subscriber to their digital cable and internet service. Next month my service price is doubled to more than $ 100. How can I get a lower price without lowering the quality of what I have or adding phone service (which I don’t need). No other way to get high-speed internet that I am aware of and I can’t afford to keep paying at this price.
Please help any ideas or suggestion…
