Which free email providers allow you to import your old emails from another email provider?
Jul 6th
Question by FrikandFrak: Which free email providers allow you to import your old emails from another email provider? I’m not talking about forwarding future emails. I’m canceling my Earthlink service, but they don’t provide a way for me to send all my emails to another online service without manually forwarding EACH email. That would take weeks! Yahoo has a “Wizard” to grab all my old emails from within my Earthlink account, but I was wondering which other free online email storage providers offer the same service?
Thanks in advance!

Web Hosting Transfer Domain:Transferring Domain to Another Provider or Account
Recently, I had to transfer a client’s domain to another web hosting account. Actually, the domain was transfered to the same web hosting provider but it was a different account. So the steps taken here could be used to transfer the domain settings to a different web hosting provider as well as another account. Remember there will be some down time so I would advise these steps be implemented when it’s late or when you expect there to be low activity on your web site and More >

Question by midna15: Can I buy a domain to only redirect to another site without having to buy hosting? Can I do this, redirecting and/or within an iFrame, and do you recommend any good place to buy domains for this purpose?

Answer by Katie Byeah, you can do it. I use Godaddy.com as they are reasonably priced and easy to use. If you’re doing it for SEO to get more links, it’s an expensive method.

Q&A: How can I transfer a domain name from one registrar to another?
Jul 4th
Question by Jack: How can I transfer a domain name from one registrar to another? I registered a domain name a few months ago with a little known company. The problem is the company’s service is a piece of crap – half the time their name servers are down. So I want to transfer that domain name to godaddy. So how do I go about it? Do I need to notify the old registrar and get their permission or can I just pay godaddy for the transfer and have it take place?
