Security advantages of a static/dedicated IP address?
Jul 11th
Question by Jaaames: Security advantages of a static/dedicated IP address? What are the advantages of a static/dedicated IP address when choosing a hosting package for an online store?
Thanks. In addition to that, what are the advantages of dedicated SSL?
Best answer:
Answer by saveorangutanWith a co-located server[static], you must purchase your own server and have it shipped to a data center, which can take time and be extremely costly. With a dedicated server, the cost of the up-to-date server hardware is included in your monthly price, reducing your costs and time to get your server online.

Jul 6th
Question by VictorC: When I type google.com in the address bar, it goes to google.de. Why does that happen? So this has been happening when i reinstalled my mozilla firefox, or it is because of the google toolbar, but i do not know how to fix it. I certainly know that I do not live in Germany, so why does it keep redirecting to google.de ?
And everytime I open mozilla, an error pops up saying:
www.google.com:443 uses an invail security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed. The certificate is only vail for google.com
(Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer)
