Outlook Error: “The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that could not be verified..”
Question by Brently: Outlook Error: “The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that could not be verified..”
I receive this error message every time I start Outlook on my Windows XP computer. It is related to my SSL certificate not being signed and/or trusted by a Certificate Authority. How can I get it to go away permanently. I.E. How can I import a trusted certificate in Mozilla.
I use an sbcglobal.net e-mail address name and go through mail.pop.att.yahoo.com for my incoming outlook mail server. Your help is appreciated. I’ve been trying to correct this for months.

Click tools, internet options, click advanced tab, uncheck the box that says..check for server certificate revocation..
