B2B sales person on commission?

Question by ATS: B2B sales person on commission?
I need some people to get new clients for my advertising /marketing agency. I haven’t been able to find anyone or any company who works on commission only. I only want to pay for performance, and I would give them a very fair commission, but only after the business deal is closed; I don’t want to pay them by hour just for trying to sell something.
It’s also a relatively easy sale, because or prices are really low (that’s kind of our thing; we’re a “budget agency”). We just don’t have the time to go after new clients anymore. We have a great website and professional sales presentations, etc.
Does anyone know people (or companies) who sell B2B services based on the terms above?
I would like to add that I don’t need the person or company to be sitting in my office from 8 to 5, the work can be done from anywhere, from home, as an extra job, on the phone and internet. This is why I think I should only pay for performance and results, not per hour. The idea is kind of like outsourcing sales.

You are going to run into a problem because most people do not have the financial ability to go 3 months without a paycheck. Plus, you have to remember that someone just getting your name out there has value.

My industry is basically set up the same way – I am an insurance broker. I was offered a lot of offers I could not take.

However, I finally found my current boss, who set up a 5 year plan. I had a bad first year, but since then I have been doubling goals.

So I think what might work for you is to find some people you trust, and try to work something out…
