Can You Really Pass on Email Marketing?

Can You Really Pass on Email Marketing?

Email marketing is an inexpensive way to reach a very large potential client base.

According to Michael Goldberg of Datran Media Marketing :Close to 75% of marketers plan to spend either the same amount or more on email marketing in 2008 as they did last year, according to MarketingSherpa’s “Email 2008: Top 10 Research Finding and Practical Ways to Increase Email Performance” report. More than a quarter of respondents said they would spend 1.5 times as much or more as they did in 2007.”

A study conducted by Datran showed that 82% planned to increase their email marketing in 2008.

Email marketing is also predicted to increase by marketers by JP Morgan.

With the economic situation that the Country is currently facing this is also the best alternative for the bottom line to increase sales while keeping the prices low for the consumer.

The ROI with the email marketing is high. With little investment and the proper auto responder, this should fall into place quite well. The responder should already be calculated into your business expense although there is alternative to this investment.

Emailing list can be place into simple programs and be done by you for those with little start up costs but this can be very time consuming. So I recommend investing a small amount of money into auto responders.

In order to drive more sales in your email have your opening statement capture the attention of the primary opener. Important, what you need to know, amazing, how to, secret, have you seen, bonus, important, and other such keywords that attract the potential client are key elements.

Include up sell and cross sell promotions. These transactional messages have the leverage to deliver more consumers.

Email lists are sometimes free to obtain. Others are of little cost. Be sure to check out those that with to be removes from the list and to NOT send to them. This will result in spamming and can result in consequences.

Remember that your ROI is the bottom line and with email advertising this marketing toll you can not pass on!
