How to get a free domain or subdomain to work with my paid server?

Question by jadedwest: How to get a free domain or subdomain to work with my paid server?
Ok, I pay for server space.
And have had several domains in the past;
but how and where can I get a free domain or subdomain to
work with MY server space.
I dont need a .com and any other type of domain I want a free one
that will work with my my server. I.E.
mysite.SITETHATOFFERSDOMAIN.COM
can anyone help?

If you sign up for www.hostultra.com which is a free hosting site, you could get www.yoursite.vzz.net and a wide range of other things off them. Just set it as a default forwarding page to your server space. Are you hosting it yourself? You will have to get it to forward their browsers to your external IP address. Possibly with a port number following it but I am unsure as to how to set port forwarding for website servering atm. Something like 170.230.123.11:80 or something similar like that. Use javascript or dhtml to forward their browsers.
