Freewebs.com is a good website to build your website, but i suggest you download Firefox first, cause it works better with that internet browser.

Freewebs is not software.
To answer your question, I believe Dreamweaver has released a Mac version. It’s made by Macromedia (who is now owned by Adobe). It’s the best program I’ve ever encountered for web development. It has a WYSIWYG editor and a code editor as well. Lots of awesome, powerful features.
To further answer your question, you can build an entire website with any text editing program. It’s all a matter of experience.
If you are looking for a particular web site that offers features like Yahoo’s Pagebuilder, try Homestead. If you’re looking for hosting, try Hostgator. If you want a good Portal system, try PHP-Nuke.
If you’re running a gaming website, I’d love to offer you a very easy to use method of creating websites. Just email me for it as I wouldn’t want to advertise here.
