software:
dreamweaver (get to know about html code and CSS)
photoshop for image editing before you place it in dreamwewaver, and its very useful for layouts
flash (actionscript code) for animations
fireworks for layouts and menus
PHP and java script is what you need to program your website to sell

w3schools is a great place to start. you can learn everything from html, css to sql and other scripting languages.

It’s not gonna happen for under $50 bucks because dreamweaver, photoshop, etc cost more than that just by themselves. Books are a hard way to learn this stuff because the wording and terms can get confusing really fast.
Here is the way I’ve learned what I know:
1. Html & Xhtml
(a) I studied the “view source” of other websites.
(b) I studied the html & xhmtl section on http://www.ww3schools.com
(c) I watched video tutorials on youtube.
(d) I created html pages on my computer just to play around
with the code I was learning so see what it would look like.
2. CSS
(a) I watched youtube tutorials.
(b) I searched for free css codes online (they are everywhere if
you look for them).
3. Photoshop
(a) I bought an old version of Photoshop 7 and played around
with it during my free time. I eventually got the hang of it.
(b) Looked up photoshop tutorials on youtube.
4. Gimp
(a) This is the poor man’s version of Photoshop. It is free to
download online. I played around with it a little bit and
learned some from there.
4. Dreamweaver
(a) I had already bought it so I messed around on it for a little bit
to get the gist of it…but I do not lean on it like a crutch
because it suggests really crappy redundant html code.
6. PHP
(a) I’ve tried reading books on this stuff and it just made my
brain hurt.
(b) I watched this guy on youtube who is an incredible teacher!
If you forgive him for being a little cranky/rude in the first
couple of videos and continue watching straight through till
the last PHP tutorial you will learn tons. Here is the link to
the first video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwJujkxYLZs&feature=channel_page
As for the other stuff like fireworks and flash, I haven’t studied any of that so I can’t help you there.
Your best bet is to search for computer programmers on youtube that love to do tutorials for people. Then you can ask them computer questions through email or chat.

Try this : just click and type can build the whole website easily
All files can managed with admin system without learning complex FTP/webeditor softwares
building a real website with .com or your domain name
is like having a physical store
3 steps you need to complete
1. find a physical store (find a server/virtual host)
you may rent or do it by yourself or but it
Rent-means you need “virtual host” (search engine can help you)
Do it by yourself – find a computer and set it as a server
here is the server-related search
http://english.tsmmc.com/search.php?query=server&action=results
2. put your commodities in your physical store (uploading your contents to server)
Web contents are placed to the server(photos or texts)
any function you need can install in this stage
here is the webpage-related search
http://english.tsmmc.com/search.php?query=webpage&action=results
3. name your physical store (domain name setting like http://www.tsmmc.com)
visitors can link to your website with your domain name easily
by setting DNS server
here is the domain name-related search
http://english.tsmmc.com/search.php?query=domain&action=results
try outsourcing of it – you will save a lot of time

Hey Andrew,
Very good question. One of the hardest things to do is actually building your first website, Right?
I struggled to but finally figured it all out. If you want, go one of my websites (I’ll put the http: in the source area for you), and you can download a free book that tells you what to do and free software you can use for the web page creation. Even how to upload it to the internet. If you need more help, just email me with your questions. Don’t worry, the book is free, ok.
