Question by Amour toujours: is it possible that DSL internet works even if one wire in the incoming telephone line is broken? I observe, my telephone line’s one wire is broken completly and only one wire going to the room’s telephone jack, where ADSL splitter is connected to provide DSL line to the modem. The internet is running! and I am sending this message from same connection… Is it possible? Does DSL splitter provide ground to the modem?
